November Blues

A real life issue that is reflected in the text is Teen pregnancies. The author describes how hard it can be to stay in school and keep up your social life and work when you are with a child at a young age. I think the author wrote this work so it can relate to other young girls in similar situations and show them how they could deal with thier problems if they are going through the same thing. I think the point the author was trying to make for this book is that even though things seem immpossible, you can get through them. You may need lots of help, but you can get through them. In lots of books I've read Ive noticed how important it is to hsve that "mother figure" there to help you and guide you. This one its the same thing. Even though Novembers mother is dissappointed in her, she is still supportive through her whole pregnancy. Novembers friend's are also always there for her when times were difficult. So  even when she felt alone, someone was always there to help her. Even though these facts are true, we can alway try our best to prevent them and movwe forward in ourOUR LIFE LIKE november did.
